Our approach
Acting entrepreneurially means taking responsibility.
We consider environmental impacts when making operational decisions. We also review existing processes and identify where we can further develop our measures. We aim to keep this responsibility consistently in focus, even as requirements and circumstances change.

Reducing our footprint, step by step.
As a management consultancy, our main environmental impacts arise primarily from travel, events, IT, procurement and day-to-day office operations. In these areas, we review existing processes and continue to develop our measures.

We avoid unnecessary travel and encourage lower-emission mobility – for example through rail travel, remote working, JobRad and our Green Car Policy.

When planning our events, we consider travel, the venue, catering and materials to make more responsible use of resources.

We size our IT infrastructure to meet our needs and take a mindful approach to resource use in purchasing and operations.

In our day-to-day office work, we reduce the use of consumables and use energy, water and other resources responsibly.

We regularly review our measures and use internal initiatives such as ESG in Motion to promote knowledge, dialogue and practical action in our day-to-day work.

Through the 4C FOOTSTEPS Foundation, we have supported social projects in early childhood education since 2011 – through financial contributions and the involvement of our employees.

Learning together. Reaching new heights.
The LernEngel at SchutzengelWerk Berlin support children with reading, writing and maths. In Eberswalde and Berlin-Pankow, they offer individual tutoring and help children build confidence in their own abilities.
Our 4C FOOTSTEPS Foundation supports the project and has provided funding for one year. At the start of the school year, employees at 4C locations also collected school supplies to equip children, particularly those in their first year of school, for everyday school life.
Children can also be supported through sponsorships. These can, for example, help fund tutoring sessions.
